MEGAN FINLEY
Why did you pursue an MBA after the military?
I am returning to the workforce after spending several years at home, raising my daughter until she reached school age. Pursuing an MBA has been an exciting and intentional step, as a powerful transition tool and a reflection of my passion for lifelong learning. It’s been an incredible opportunity to refresh my skills, expand my knowledge, and prepare to bring my unique experience and perspective back into the professional world. Beyond the career advantages, this journey has been personally fulfilling, giving me the confidence and competitive edge I need to contribute meaningfully in my next role.
Why did you choose the TCU MBA program?
I put a great deal of thought and research into choosing the right MBA program, and TCU quickly became my top choice. The Neeley School of Business is highly respected, and its convenient location was an important factor, as I knew I would get the most out of an in-person program. What truly set Neeley apart from other schools I considered—such as SMU’s Cox and Georgetown’s McDonough—was the hands-on experience offered through the Neeley & Associates consulting program. For someone like me, gaining fresh consulting experience is enriching and a valuable asset for future employers.
