Why an MBA? Four years at West Point and five years in the US Army gave me enough experience, both stateside and abroad, to be ready for the next chapter of my professional career and an MBA seemed like the right path.
Why Rochester? While I had absolutely no business or financial background upon arriving at Simon, I know it would be a great proving ground in those subjects and I left well prepared to tackle the challenges of big data at P&G, my former employer. Also, it was a well-respected, highly ranked program and that was very important to me.

Why an MBA? “During a weeklong transition to northwest Baghdad, I was severely wounded by shrapnel in my left leg and left arm and the recovery included 22 surgeries from November 2004 through December 2006. While recuperating at Walter Reed I started to plan for a life outside of the Army and an MBA seemed like the right choice.”
Why Rochester? When it came time to choose an MBA, Simon was at the top of my list. It was one of the few leading business schools offering a Health Sciences Management concentration and that is what I was interested in pursuing a future career in at the time.

Why an MBA? Coming from a technical undergraduate degree and military background, I sought out an MBA program to compliment that skillset and that would give me the fundamental comprehension of how complex decisions are made.
Why Rochester? “I actually worked and lived in Rochester prior to beginning the MBA. The combination of having a top-tier MBA program in my backyard coupled with the flexibility that I would have to balance both my career and studies made perfect sense.”
