Christopher Petersen, a native of St. Charles, IL is responsible for the MBA Veterans Network’s Sales, Marketing, and Social Media initiatives. Previously, Petersen worked as a policy and operations advisor to the Governor of Illinois’ Chief of Staff. Prior to that, he spent four and a half years on active duty as a US Army Transportation Corps officer in various assignments in the US and South Korea.
Chris earned an MBA from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, a Master of International Relations from Victoria University in Wellington, New Zealand, and a Bachelor of Arts from Boston College. Away from the office, Chris is a passionate surfer and can be found surfing the freshwater waves of the Great Lakes during most fall weekends. He currently resides in the Cincinnati area.
David Chonowski, a native of Peoria, IL, is responsible for web-design/technology, vendor relationship management, and event planning. Chonowski served over five years on active duty as a US Army Engineer officer as a platoon leader, company executive officer, and officer basic and advanced course instructor in Iraq, Germany, and the US Army Engineer School at Fort Leonard Wood, MO.David earned an MBA and Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and graduated from West Point with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. In his spare time, David is an avid swimmer and CrossFit athlete. He currently resides in Bloomington, IN.
